Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160 0022
As the world’s first Disney park to be created out of the United States, Tokyo Disneyland opened its doors to the adoring public in 1983. Situated in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan nearby to Tokyo, this iconic attraction in Tokyo is a wonderful experience and excellent representation of its namesake. Created around seven themed parks namely, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown, Westernland, Tomorrowland, Adventureland and World Bazaar, Tokyo Disneyland is a great family based attraction.
Critter Country is home to two great attractions, Splash Mountain and Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes. Splash Mountain as the name suggests has the highest flume ride in the park, and is a real adrenaline rush. Whilst Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes offers a more sedate approach to water, where visitors can paddle around a river with the aid of a guide and enjoy views of the Tom Sawyer’s island and great views of Critter Country.
Fantasyland will be a delightful experience for the children, as some of the world’s most loved Disney characters can be met. Meet Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinocchio, Alice in Wonderland, Jasmine and enjoy the fantastic rides that are brimming with thrills.
Toontown is where one can meet Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and their friends. Toontown is an ideal location for the youngest members of the family, as all areas have soft surfaces. Many restaurants and cafés dot the area of Tokyo Disneyland along with wheelchair access, changing rooms and facilities for mothers.
Enjoy Tokyo Disneyland to your heart’s content in the comforts of Citadines Shinjuku Tokyo. Offering premier accommodation in Tokyo, guests can enjoy state of the art facilities and spacious environs that cater to both the leisure and business traveller.
