The humid summer (June to August) includes heavy rainfall and sees the temperatures averaging around 32°C. Winter (December to February) is generally cold and dry, and the best time to visit Xi’an is during autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) when the climate is cooler.
Public and tour buses in Xi’an have stops throughout the city and provide access to many key attractions. Cabs can be hailed on the streets, and the currently developing subway system provides limited access to certain locales.
